Strategically important for the Mévouillon, Aulan was then given up in 1245 to Hugues de Montbrun... In 1792 the castle was burnt down and rebuilt in the 19th century by Louis de Suarez d'Aulan and his son Arthur.

You can visit: the remains of the village, the castle which contains various paintings, sculptures and accessories that belonged to Charles Suarez d'Aulan's ancestors.
Festivities: employers' festival: 1st Sunday of August. Demonstrations in the castle: visit with the candles with dressed up characters (August), concerts, theatre, exposures.
