A small medieval village, ensconced in the Valley of l'Ennuyé. Sainte-Jalle was the home of Faulque Thollon-de-Sainte-Jalle, one of the most prominent figures of the religious wars. It was at one time the capital of the Grenier des Baronnies, a renowned trading centre for many centuries. Nowadays the village holds, every 3rd Saturday in August.

You can visit: the ruins of the castle, and its 12th or 13th century dungeon, the Church Notre-Dame de Beauver (or Bauvoir) from the 12th century.
