14 km from Buis-les-Baronnies A small medieval village, ensconced in the Valley of l'Ennuyé. Sainte-Jalle was the home of Faulque Thollon-de-Sainte-Jalle, one of the most prominent figures of the religious wars. It was at one time the capital of the Grenier des Baronnies, a renowned trading centre for many centuries. Nowadays the village holds, every 3rd Saturday in August. |
